Magenta Shared Pathway
The Magenta Shared Pathway is now open — a must-ride for cyclists looking to explore the Central Coast’s natural beauty. Spanning 6.3km, this smooth, scenic trail connects The Entrance North to the lakeside town of Toukley, winding through the lush Wyrrabalong National Park.
As you ride, enjoy glimpses of Tuggerah Lake along the way, and be sure to stop at the viewing platform near Magenta Shores Golf Course for stunning panoramic views of the region’s sparkling waterways.
For easy access, start your ride at The Entrance North Boat Ramp at the southern end of the trail, or kick off closer to Norah Head by parking at the Red Gum & Lilly Pilly Walking track car park.
Whether you're clocking up the kilometres or taking a more relaxed cruise, the Magenta Shared Pathway offers the ideal blend of nature and cycling on the Central Coast.

Tuggerah Lake Loop
The Tuggerah Lakes Loop is a scenic coastal ride that weaves through some of the Central Coast’s most stunning lakeside towns. Covering a mix of quiet backroads and dedicated bike paths, this loop takes you through Wyong, Toukley, Canton Beach, The Entrance, Chittaway, and Tuggerah — with the freedom to start and finish wherever suits you best.
It’s the perfect ride for those looking to clock up some kilometres or take a more leisurely cruise, with Wilfred Barret Drive offering a coastal stretch that connects the northern and southern sides of the lake. E-bike riders will love the smooth paths and gentle gradients, while more seasoned cyclists can pick up the pace along the open roads.
There’s no shortage of spots to stop for a breather — The Entrance is a popular halfway point, with plenty of cafés for a coffee and snack, or take a moment to refill your water bottles at the rest stops along the way.
With ever-changing views of Tuggerah Lake and a perfect blend of nature and local charm, the Tuggerah Lakes Loop is a must-ride — whether you're chasing the kilometres or simply soaking in the scenery.

Ourimbah State Forest
Looking to put your e-bike through its paces? The Ourimbah to Yarramalong Loop is a 35km intermediate-level ride that takes you across a mix of terrains — perfect for testing out that extra boost of power.
Kick off at Ourimbah MTB Park, where you can warm up with a quick loop on the single trails before hitting the main route. The first stretch leads you along well-groomed fire trails, giving you a chance to tackle some climbs with the help of your motor — a great way to feel how your bike handles looser dirt roads and uneven surfaces.
Once you’ve conquered the trails, it’s onto the asphalt roads — including a thrilling descent down Bumble Hill. Just remember, the e-bike might make the climbs feel easy, but gravity still works on the way down — so watch your speed!
Halfway through, there’s a café stop in Yarramalong — the perfect place to recharge both yourself and your bike if needed. From there, the ride winds back along the valley on mostly flat roads, giving you a chance to soak in the stunning Central Coast hinterland views.
Whether you're pushing the distance or just out to enjoy the ride, this loop offers a great mix of surfaces to truly experience what your e-bike can do.

Brisbane Water National Park
Nestled near Gosford on the Central Coast, Brisbane Water National Park offers an incredible mix of trails and terrain — perfect for an e-bike adventure. Just a short ride north of Sydney, it’s a great spot for a day trip or a weekend escape.
The park features a variety of cycling trails that wind through rainforests and rugged sandstone country. Whether you’re tackling the Warrah Trig fire trail for some off-road action or cruising the Patonga to Pearl Beach ride with its stunning coastal views, there's a route for every rider. With an e-bike, those climbs become a little more manageable — leaving you free to focus on the breathtaking scenery.
Along the way, you’ll discover Aboriginal rock engraving sites and hidden lookouts bursting with spring wildflowers. If you're up for a break, roll into Patonga for some fish and chips by the beach or stop by Umina Beach to grab a coffee before finding your own secluded picnic spot.
Important: While these trails are beautiful, some sections can be remote — so pack plenty of water, a repair kit, and a fully charged battery. Mobile service can be patchy, so plan ahead and let someone know your route.
